Senior QA/ Testing Engineer   




  Institutional Shareholder Services Pvt. Limited is looking for Senior QA/ Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidates should have a Bachelor s/ Master s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline with extensive QA/ software testing or development experience including hands on scripting (automation) or coding experience in any programming language. Extensive experience in using a Defect Tracking system. JIRA experience preferred.

Basic level of understanding and utilization of web servers. Experience in Apache Tomcat on Unix/Linux a plus.
Extensive experience in utilization of at least one Test Automation Tool. Exposure to Selenium preferred.
Experience with SQL/ SPs and advanced knowledge on MS SQL Server or/and Oracle database systems a plus.
Good knowledge in interacting with RDBMS.

Experience with Linux OS including writing bash scripts preferred
Strong technical leadership and management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience in working as part of a global development organization is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead effort on designing, modification and expansion of QA and automation testing frameworks. Develop tools and monitoring solutions for effective management and operation of QA environments deployments, application environment testing, troubleshooting issues. Lead the effort on QA and Automation roadmap, architecture and test framework design discussions including platform performance, stability, and reliability

Test Automation Development of various testing projects using Java to provide APIs for testers to code the test cases
Develop tools that will aid in automation testing and environment management
Provide technical support to remote Test Automation and Performance Engineering team members on projects.
Work with Product Management to ensure products are being built based on the business specifications and requirements

Mentor Team members with solving Technology related issues and perform exploratory (manual) testing effort as needed
Collaborate with technical teams in different time zones and located in different countries
Promote a culture of continuous improvement

We offer a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
