  Akamai Technologies Inc. is looking for Senior Software Engineer



Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop software that runs on our highly secure, globally distributed network. You will work on the Zero Trust Network Access product line.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a 5 years of experience and a bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Demonstrate experience developing and debugging applications in Typescript, Python and/or Golang
Have understanding of networking and internet protocols such as TCP/ IP, DNS, HTTP/ HTTPS
Be experienced with distributed systems and have a good knowledge of Linux system internals
Have experience in docker/ Kubernetes
Experience in network security products - VPN, Load Balance, Firewall, Secure Web Gateway, Reverse proxy

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Developing new and enhancing existing capabilities on our Zero Trust platform
Collaborating with product owners, architects, developers, and test engineers to deliver solutions under an Agile development process focused on continuous delivery
Working on projects that focus on system scalability, performance and security
Working with multi-tier engineering support teams to troubleshoot complex problems in our platform
