Software Testing Engineer   




  DigitalMain (India) Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have 1 to 4 years experience in commercial software product development and/or testing Good understanding of cloud environment, CICD, relational databases, 2 or more years experience crafting, maintaining, and executing tests plans at all application layer.

Vulnerability Testing a Plus Experience in mobile testing, web-application testing, database testing Strong understanding of software lifecycle and quality engineering methodology. Proficient with bug tracking software like Bugzilla and Jira Good numerical analysis and logical thinking skills Hands-on working experience in Unix and Windows.

Proficient in one of the programming languages such as Python, Perl or shell scripting, SQL Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to excel in cross-functional and team environment Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to excel in cross-functional and team environment Context of the position.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop a testing plan, test cases and scenarios, test data, and a test environment based on requirements.
Execute tests manually or automatically
Verify test results and report issues
Run performance tests (Benchmark, stress test, etc.)
Maintain regression test suite

Automate test cases by utilizing leading testing framework like Selenium, scripting, and other high-level languages
Participate in scrum and developer interlocks to review bugs and provide potential paths for correction
Track bugs across priorities, categories, as well as understand trends in bugs and rework
