Software Testing Engineer   




  Sustainext Digital Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software testing - manual and automation testing. Must have working knowledge of Python, Django, PostgreSQL and ReactJS. International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification or similar testing certification is a plus.

Technical Skills & Competencies-

Strong knowledge of software testing concepts ,methodologies, and practices.
Experience with test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks.
Experience in Agile/ Scrum development methodologies is advantageous.
Must have excellent MS Office Skills.

Key Responsibilities-

Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
Participate in requirement review sessions to identify testable scenarios and ensure clarity in understanding.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software meets quality standards and requirements.
Execute test cases manually and, if applicable, automate test cases using appropriate testing tools.
Identify and document defects and inconsistencies in the softwares behavior, following a structured defect reporting process.
