  Parasoft India Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should be BE/ B Tech (CS/ IS/ IT/ EC) or MCA with 1 to 2 years of relevant automation testing experience in API Testing and SOA Testing. Automation Testing Knowledge, Java Basics and Experience is compulsory. Must have good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience in JUNIT Framework, REST API, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, Swagger and different data exchange format such as XML, JSON etc.

Understanding of Database fundamentals [MySQL] and Good at scripting languages such as Java Script, Java, Groovy, Python. Responsible for testing of REST/SOAP web services and API using a full suite of QA automation tools such as Parasoft SOA Test, SOAP UI, Ready API and other Open-Source Tool like POSTMAN etc. Experience in Testing Micro services/ REST APIs in a fast faced, collaborative environment. Design and documented REST/HTTP, SOAP APIs, including XML, JSON, WSDL and scripting file data formats and API versioning strategy.

Creating the parameters test data and checking the response of API as per business requirements.
Analysis of test results and Version control management using GIT, SVN knowledge preferable.
Knowledge of any Service Virtualization tools and assets creation, handling, deployment preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities-

Understand the Parasoft Automation Tools, actively participate in the Pre and Post Sales Activity (Tool Demonstrations, Proof Of Concept and Post sales support)
Willingness to travel to client locations across India as and when needed. (30% Travelling involved)
Write an API automation test scripts using Parasoft Jtest and Parasoft SOA Test.
Validating the response using scripts and in-built assertion methodology.
Creation of Virtual Assets, managing of Virtual Assets and deployment using Parasoft Service Virtualization.
Need to work with HTTP/s protocol and REST based operations and authentication mechanism.
Working with banking domain in order to virtualize the dependent services and mock the response using Parasoft tools.
