Software Testing Engineer (SDET)   




  Avalara Technologies Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer (SDET)



Job Description

Candidate must have a Computer science degree or an equivalent with 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in software quality assurance. Must have excellent designing and programming skills. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Should have experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum development process
Experience with load and/ or security testing is a plus
Experience with AWS is a plus.

Job Responsibility-

In this role, you will be responsible for functional, performance, and integration testing by creating automated test cases to ensure the world-class quality of Avalara products

You will also be responsible for supporting manual QA efforts within the team
You will be responsible for understanding requirements and designing test cases from the requirements
You will be working closely with product and developer teams on a day-to-day basis
You will be the voice of the customer within the organization, demanding zero defects, five nines reliability, and ease of use
