  Stellantis - A Leading Global Mobility Player is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in the development and testing of embedded software for automotive infotainment applications. The job requires prior experience in embedded software development, and experience in testing. It also requires familiarity with Yocto Linux as well as familiarity with Android code. It is expected that this person possesses an interest in learning and in contributing to the state-of-the-art and emerging automotive computational technologies.

Candidate should have Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, and testing, using C or C++. Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing in the Linux environment and involving Yocto. Familiarity with the software of automotive in-vehicle applications that include one or more of the following application areas: Instrument Clusters, Android applications, Streaming Services, Navigation Services, Vehicle Services, Voice Services, and firmware over the air (FOTA).

Familiarity with rapid prototyping and with board bring-up
Knowledge in hardware interfaces (e.g. CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB)
Possess strong initiative, problem solving skills, and ability to work in a diverse team environment, good at documenting the software
Has good communication skills and the ability to interface with application software developers, vehicle integration and validation engineering organizations.
