Associate Testing Engineer   




  Tangoe: Technology & Lifecycle Management is looking for Associate Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate must have around 1 to 4 years of experience in Software testing, Quality Assurance.
Analyze, troubleshoot and test software program, resolving issue with business applications.
Build and maintain expert knowledge of MOBI software products.
Handle testing and deployment of client configurations throughout the organization.
Document technical processes nod troubleshooting.
Participate in story planning, estimate testing portion of stories.
Develop test charters for assigned stories based on risk to code, customer, and business.

As stories are delivered, execute testing of those stories in an exploratory manner, reporting defects found and testing fixed defects. Evaluate and test software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements.

Validate that software performs to established guidelines.
Write, review, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation.
Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools and process.
Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects.

Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.
Explore and troubleshoot potential defects reported from the field.
Become familiar with the fields of software engineering and testing, and learn about software delivery processes.
Provides feedback about product quality that is used to determine whether the product is ready to be shipped.
