  Ansys Inc | Engineering Simulation Software is looking for Technical Support Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 2 to 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment. Must have logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English

Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
Capability to work independently, as well as with others in a fast paced, diverse team environment with continually evolving priorities
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

Should have experience with languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Should be good with WordPress (Rest, Hooks, Custom post types and Taxonomies)
Knowledge of SQL query and basic database management

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+3 or MS+0
Basic understanding of the software development process
Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
Practical experience managing WordPress sites
